Our beloved country Malaysia has always been well recognized globally for its multi racial society which lives in harmony. It is important to maintain this unity that makes us all uniquely Malaysian. Unity must start from everyone’s heart. It must start from scratch. It must start from young. It must start from all levels.

First of all, everyone must respect the various differences that can exist in a multi racial society, be in religious or other practices. Maybe one racial practice may contradict the belief of another but when you respect that difference, you learn to accept it as well. The best possible way to promote this would be to organize activities where everyone can learn and share more information about each other’s culture. We could organize more campaigns or even camps for everyone to participate, from school level right up to corporate world. We could make more documentaries for people to watch and books for people to read. A learned society is indeed a wise society. 

Secondly unity must be promoted from young. From the small steps of kindergarten right to the halls of universities, parents and teachers play a crucial role in this. Children learn by example , ergo parents must set a good example of interacting well with a multi racial and multi religious society. Prejudices and biases learnt at childhood will manifest into more serious level at adulthood. Teachers must reinforce unity in school. We must have students of different races work close with each other rather than segregating the groups. 

Thirdly, from the man on the street to those on top ranks of the society, unity must be close to their hearts. They must believe in its goodness and really want it in their hearts. Likening unity to bridges that connect the people and disunity to walls that divide them, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak recently urged the people to repair their bridges and tear down the divisive walls that existed among the races. The way we interact and treat our neighbours, our friends, the people on the street, will all affect how we relate to each other. When we relate to each other with an open heart, it will be returned in many folds.

-Statistics indicate tens of thousands of people die annually due to smoking or exposure to second hand cigarette smoke.
-Despite numerous campaigns, there is no reduction in numbers.
2nd Paragrapgh
-Thus far, government strategies have proved unsuccessful
-Documented evidence of harmful effects of cigarettes
-Lead to death due to lung cancer, brain haemorrhage, lung infection, heart attacks, strokes and other irreversible medical complications.
3rd Paragraph
-Ban the sale and consumption of cigarettes
-Government has a duty to protect lives of citizens
-Many young people are increasingly addicted to smoking
-Need healthy and able-bodied younger generation to lead country
4th Paragraph
-Consumption and possession must be made illegal just like drugs
-Heavy fines and jail sentences for those caught smoking and selling cigarettes as they have become banned items
5th Paragraph
-May lead to dissatisfaction among smokers
-Ban could be seen as violation of rights
-Government should stand firm and not be swayed by loss of revenue from cigarette taxes  
Conclusion
-Ensure widespread campaign to create greater awareness on dangers of smoking
-Government offers rationale as to why it is banning sale and possession of cigarettes
-Treat smoking as a disease and not an addiction

Karangan

Ok, karangan memang tak boleh nak ramal apa-apa lah. Tapi kalau nak tips aku sikit, boleh je. K, kalau korang perasaan, tiap kali periksa, soalan karangan umum no 1 dan 2 mesti berkaitan dengan gejala sosial dan ibu bapa/keluarga. Jadi tips nya ialah, sediakanlah isi-isi untuk tajuk ni. Biasanya 3 pun dah cukup kalau pandai kembangkan, tapi kalau nak selamat, carilah 5. Isi untuk dedua soalan ni pun biasanya lebih kurang je, sebab semua masalah sosial berpunca daripada keluarga kan. 
Oraite, lagi satu kalau nak kasi karangan best and tak klise sangat, carilah kata-kata hikmat yang sesuai. Dah form 5 kot, takkan karangan setakat ada peribahasa tradisional jer. Masukkan je kata-kata hikmat yang biasa korang jumpa kat fb or twitter, tak jadi masalah selagi kata-kata tu betul. Nah aku kasi sikit kata-kata hikmat yang aku biasa guna untuk karangan aku.

Ok tu lah antara kata-kata hikmah yang boleh korang pakai. Korang jugak boleh masukkan pepatah cina, pepatah arab, hadis, maksud potongan ayat al quran atau kitab injil bagi mereka yang non-muslim.
